Catchers U® is proud to present its One-Day Elite Catching Camp, an intensive, hands-on training session designed to elevate the skills of baseball catchers at all levels. This camp is for athletes who are serious about improving their skills behind the plate and are committed to taking their catching ability to the next level. Whether you're looking to refine your fundamentals or learn advanced techniques, this camp will cover every aspect of the catching position, from receiving to throwing and everything in between. What to Expect:
At the Catchers U® Elite Camp, players will receive top-tier instruction from professional coaches and experienced catching experts. The camp is designed to challenge players and improve their skills through personalized feedback, drills, and situational training. We focus on developing elite-level techniques in a high-energy, competitive environment. Topics covered include: Receiving & Framing: Master the art of receiving pitches with soft hands, proper body positioning, and framing to steal strikes. Blocking & Tracking: Improve your ability to block pitches in the dirt, read the ball out of the pitcher’s hand, and react quickly in game situations. Throwing Mechanics & Pop Time: Develop efficient throwing mechanics, learn the fundamentals of quick, accurate throws to second base, and work on improving your pop time. Pitch Calling & Game Management: Learn the mental side of catching, including pitch selection, game strategy, and how to manage a pitching staff effectively. Mental Toughness & Leadership: Gain insights into the mental game of being a catcher, including how to lead the team, stay focused under pressure, and handle adversity. Registration:
Space is limited to 15 catchers to ensure quality instruction, so early registration is recommended.
